Island of Pag - Novalja - Stara Novalja

In a quiet bay of the north - western part of the island of Pag, on a gentle slope near the sea in a series of houses which are sheltered by Velebit mountain from wind, you can find Stara Novalja. Stara Nova is protected from winds and surrounded and beneath the stone hills, vineyards, pine trees and rosemary. Days are measured with amount of sunshine, and nights with sound of crickets.

Novalja attracts its visitors with numerous small beaches, which stretch from the beginning to the end of the village. Maestral, gentle Mediterranean wind attracts many lovers of water sports, especially yachting. Clear and clean sea is one of the most beautiful in the Adriatic area and gives you a great pleasure of diving.

In Stara Novalja guests can try the various specialties of local cuisine, fresh, directly from the sea. Local restaurants will offer you lamb raised on island which gives you special taste and cheese, homemade alcoholic beverages, wine and brandy, which should mention the world famous wine from the island of Pag, "Pašku Žuticu". The rest depends on the imagination of your hosts.
